This fact is no more evident than in the lyrics of the band’s songs, which are often interspersed with irony and other literary paradoxes. Most of the band’s lyrics were written by band member Pete Wentz, who has been in the media spotlight, not just because of his relationship with singer Ashlee Simpson, but also because of his hoodies, guyliners and who would have thought he had a fashion line.
